Tomorrow, Nov 11th, a subtle wave starts at the bottom of the ocean – the Moon is born again in soulful Scorpio.  There’s a beautiful healing and “whole’ing” possibility here, with supportive beams from Chiron in compassionate Pisces and Jupiter in verdant Virgo.  Pluto, the potent ruler of this Moon lends a hand as well from steady and committed Capricorn.  We can plant seeds of our deepest dreams into the fertile darkness, and TRUST the process of growth happening far below the surface. It is a kind of leap of faith, to put a seed or a bulb deep into the cold dark autumnal soil and believe that something beautiful will pop out in Spring.  Similarly, the inner impulses we set in motion around this New Moon will grow to full flowering in 6 month’s time.  Patience, patience…:) This image, an illustration from the Vision Quest Tarot for “3 of Earth- Growth” kept popping up as I thought of how to transmit my sense of this Moon’s promise.  You can use it too, to remind yourself that now is indeed the time to tend to the deep desires, with full faith in their potential to bloom.

This Scorpio Moon invites us to embrace even the darkest, most unlovable aspects of ourselves – our shame, our pain, our failures and hopelessness – everything that’s been locked away in the darkest dungeons of our inner castle.  For in these secret chambers Dragons lie – our wildest potency, our fire-breathing creative lifeforce is buried there under a pile of fear and regret.  The Dragon came to me in meditation this morning, inspired by tonight’s rather unsettling dream (yes, pay attention to dreams right now, please!  create moments of silence, of free-form reverie on the currents of consciousness… gather up the CLUES that lead to treasures there, clues that no one else can give you…).  In a flash of goofy brilliance, I used the Harry Potter spell “Relashio!” to free my inner Dragon (Harry used this spell to free the Dragon that was chained to guard the Gringotts Bank’s oldest and richest vaults).  Very effective!:)  Try it, perform whatever sorcery you need to release your inner resources from any bondage you or anyone else has put on them.  No person, project or a vault of gold is worth your undying devotion – this is a chance to recover and redeem yourself, no matter what you’ve done or been.  “I’d rather be whole than good”, said Carl Jung.  This beautifully supported Scorpio New Moon is the perfect time to learn to LOVE your Dragons.  TRUTH and TRUST will set you free!
